I think only the die hard runners and school supporters did today's race. It was a temp of 34 with a feels like of 24 this morning. And it was misting a bit of moisture....snow? Personally, I'd rather run in the cold as in the heat and humidity and my time shows it. By no means fast, but for me, faster.
There were only four of us in the 50-59 age group and I am guessing I was the oldest. I've done two MAF training sessions, wonder if that helped my time? I was a little over a minute faster. Nah, I think it was the cold temperatures that helped. Too soon for the MAF to make a difference. As always, glad I made the effort.
