I found some recipes for protein drinks on one of my favorite blogs, Runs for Cookies. I made the butterfinger protein smoothie today with just a few changes to fit what I had on hand. Yummy.
I cup almond milk, 1 1/2 scoops of vanilla protein powder, 1 T. Cocoa powder, 1 T. Peanut butter, 1 1/2 T. Butterscotch instant pudding mix, 2-3 tsp chocolate chips, and about 6-8 ice cubes. I'm sure it isn't low calorie but it was a yummy meal replacement. I'm always running errands on Fridays and don't want to stop to eat. This took about five minutes and should last me to supper. Has about 21g of protein.
